“Only 2 or 3 cents more expensive than supermarkets”: this Mayenne town has revived its gas station

Landivy's self-service pumps, now managed by the town hall, have successfully reopened. Closed two years ago due to liquidation, their success has exceeded expectations.
By Michel DalloniHe didn't expect this. But the mayor of Landivy in Mayenne (population 1,100) is delighted. Since the municipality took over management of the town's only gas station on July 8, after two years of closure due to compulsory liquidation , the tanks have had to be refilled three times.
"It's working much better than we expected," confides councilor Marcel Ronceray. Every day, the two pumps, located at the southern entrance to the town, distribute an average of 300 liters of diesel and 170 liters of gasoline (SP95, SP98).
